Take Out August 29, 2009

Using a take out container as a jumping off point, a wide range of artists were invited to create original works of art. Throughout history, many artists have played with the concept of boxes and containers including Andy Warhol, Joseph Cornell, Marcel Duchamp and Lucas Samaris to name a few. This invitational exhibition, curated by Jackie Borsanyi, allowed for artists of all levels to participate, from recreational artists to professionals. The one common denominator was the take out container provided by the Museum.
