North American Indian Cello Project
Hear new works for cello, piano, percussion and string ensemble by Tim Archambault (Kichesipirini), Dawn Avery (Mohawk), Raven Chacon (Navajo, Dine) and Ron Warren (Echota Cherokee).
These composers have created new works with funding from the First Nations Composer Initiative project supported through the Ford Foundation's Indigenous Knowledge, Expressive Culture grant program of the American Composers Forum.
