Experience an exciting trip “around the world” to learn about the culture, history and people at each of the USS Intrepid’s ports of call during “Kids Week” on Wednesday, February 20th – Friday, February 22nd, from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), Manhattan.
“Intrepid Ports of Call Day” provides kids with an opportunity to participate in a broad array of interactive activities. After completing a challenge at each of the eight different country stations, including origami making in Japan, mask making in Brazil, 3-D coral reef crafts in Australia and playing Olympic Games in Greece, children will earn a stamp in their special passports.
“Kids Week” runs from February 16 – February 24, is open daily from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM and offers a week full of fun and engaging educational programs the whole family will enjoy. “Kids Week” activities are free with the price of admission to the museum.
