Takacs Quartet April 18, 2009

The Takacs Quartet is one of the world's greatest string quartets. Formed in Budapest at the Franz Liszt Academy in 1975, they are currently based in Boulder, Colorado and have held a residency at the University of Colorado since 1983. Pianist Marc-Andre Hamelin tours with Takacs Quartet featuring the Schumann Piano Quintet Op. 44.
