The first Taiwan ROC 100 Festival will be held at the Stafford Centre (10505 Cash Road) on September 24, 2011 thru September 25, 2011 to celebrate the centennial of the Republic of China.
Attendees will enjoy multicultural foods and classic festival treats as well as a variety of live entertainment, including music concerts, traditional Taiwanese dances, martial arts shows, dragon dances and more!
The festival even features a special area filled with moonwalks and other fun activities for children of all ages.
Proceeds from the festival will benefit The Houston Asian Jaycee Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting the efforts of the Houston Asian Junior Chamber which provides a number of educational, charitable, scholarly, leadership development, natural disaster relief, elderly projects, environmental and community-service aid to residents living in the greater Houston area.
A local showcase of area Taiwanese-owned businesses will also be onsite.
