Tai Chi (TIE-chee) is a form of moving meditation that promotes serenity through gentle movements, connecting mind and body. Qi Gong (Chee-Gong) is a unique blend of an ancient Chinese art and science of becoming aware of this life energy and learning how to control its flow through posture, movement, breathing, and meditation. Tai Chi/Qi Gong can help improve mental clarity, emotional equilibrium and overall health.
Participants will learn “The Eight Pieces of Treasure,” eight of the most powerful and effective movements for improving health and balancing all of the meridians and acupuncture points. This process is enhanced by beautiful guided meditation and music that accompanies each movement and can be practiced standing or sitting in a chair. No experience necessary.
The workshop will be led by Chun Kim-Levin, who has been a healthcare professional for over 35 years with 15 years of healthcare management experience. In 1997, Chun founded Life-Spring Holistic Services in the belief that everyone can attain a healthier, fuller life by harmonizing Mind-Body-Spirit.
