Tahoe Comedy presents Susan Jones March 19, 2011

Tahoe Comedy North continues to bring the laughs for a St. Patrick’s Weekend Celebration at the Pioneer Underground located next to the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts at 100 South Virginia, St., Reno, NV.

Wear green to any show this weekend and get lucky with two for one entry at the day of the show $15 price. We have one show on Friday at 8:00pm and two shows on Saturday: the first is at 8:00pm and the second is an ‘R’ rated show at 10:00pm. The weekend’s performance is headlined by comedian Susan Jones. Voted Washington's funniest comic, Susan Jones brings her 20 years of comedy and radio experience to the stage with some seriously funny girl talk. Larger than life, Susan uses her attitude and experiences with size acceptance and being a single mom to deliver consistently funny, crowd pleasing performances. Comedian / Writer / Actor Sean Sullivan McBride will be your Irish host for the evening. Sean has been making people laugh his whole life. Upon graduating from college, Sean entered into the world of Sports Broadcasting, but much to his News Director’s chagrin, relaying that night’s scores was not nearly as important as was fitting his next joke into the sportscast. He soon realized he was in the wrong business, packed up his belongings and moved out to Los Angeles, CA. Alongside Susan and Sean on Friday night will be guest comedian, Adam Holwerda. Adam’s humor bounces between personal anecdotes and the absurd, with a storytelling style infused with well-written punches and impressive timing. Saturday night’s 8:00pm guest comedian is Jack DeBell. Raised in Southern California Jack's material focuses on his childhood and family. Being half-Hispanic (but unable to speak Spanish), being an ex-pervert turned Christian convert, and being a strict constitutionalist that's anti-voting, his stand-up delves into weird beliefs and contradictions in society.

Saturday night’s 10:00pm performance is ‘R’ rated and will showcase Susan and Sean delivering comedy that is certainly not for children! Joining Susan and Sean as your guest comedian for the late night, R-Rated show is comedian Andy Garcia. Andy won first place at the RenoStandup.com/Think Kindness Charity Comedy Competition in July of 2010.
