In the 19th century, ‘tableaux vivants’ or "poses plastiques", were an ever growing and enticingly popular form of erotic entertainment.
With performers and actors alike posing in the nude to recreate famous works of art for an audience.

Flash forward to the year 2012 for Time Bomb Burlesque first explosive show of the New Year!

Merging the erotic and titillating art forms of both burlesque and tableau vivant, Time Bomb Burlesque brings you TABLEAU VIVANT: living art burlesque! Hosted by Portland's own Dylan Hillerman ("Bikini Creature Beach Feature", "Dr. Goldfoot's Gold Shoe Review", "MASSACRE: Curves of the Damned", "Black Lodge Burlesque")
And produced by the lovely Lizzy O’Boom and Time Bomb Burlesque; the Bossanova Ballroom brings you a night of artistic measure! Featuring comedy, tableau, music and of course Stunning Burlesque performances by some of the area’s beloved performers, including:
