T-Mobile is having a free event this Saturday May 9th that is fun for all ages. The teams have already been selected, but come out for some free fun and bring the kids. A performance by the New Boyz has just been added!

T-Mobile USA Presents “Conquer the Court” Basketball Tournament

WHAT: T-Mobile is partnering with KPWR Power 106 and KDAY 93.5 The Beat in Los Angeles to bring to the city an exciting basketball tournament in which eight teams will battle it out on the blacktop for bragging rights, cash and prizes. Players will pick their fave five as teammates and the first team to reach 21 points or have the lead score by the end of the game clock will advance through the brackets until one team remains and is crowned the winner.
The top three teams will receive a trophy and the winning team receives $2,500 and a Nokia Xpress 5310 music phone with complimentary T-Mobile service for one year. This event is free and open to the public. T-Mobile will also be giving out 5 free phones with a complimentary year of service to fans in the stands at the event. T-Mobile’s “Conquer the Court” event series will travel to five major cities, wrapping up in Los Angeles on May 9th.
WHO: Basketball legend and NBA commentator Kenny Smith will be onsite for the championship trophy presentation and there will be a special performance by the New Boyz. KPRW Power 106, KDAY 93.5 The Beat and DJ Tattoo will be on hand to provide music and entertainment. Several local celebrities expected to attend.
