The Temple-Tifereth Israel, built in 1924 by Charles Greco, is Cleveland's second oldest existing Jewish congregation. The golden domes of this national landmark stand fast over the Temple Museum of Religious Art and 1,900-seat Silver Sanctuary. You can also bear witness to a major work of 20th century architecture, the Park Synagogue, the largest and most ambitious synagogue and community center designed by the world famous Eric Mendelsohn. It features the world's third largest hemispheric dome, which is covered in copper and symbolizes the unity of heaven and earth.
Locations: Temple-Tifereth Israel at 5:30 p.m. (26000 Shaker Blvd., Beachwood) and Park Synagogue at 6:30 p.m. (3300 Mayfield Rd.)
