Symposium - Nation Building: Craft and Contemporary American Culture November 8, 2012

Coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the Renwick Gallery, this symposium examines craft's increasingly urgent role within contemporary American culture. Keynote is presented by the Head of Research and Head of Graduate Studies, Victoria and Albert Museum, Glenn Adamson. This symposium is held in the Smithsonian American Art Museum's McEvoy Auditorium (Eighth and G streets N.W.)
