Gottaswing.com presents national recording artists THE BLASTERS with Deja Blue Blues Band. National recording stars The Blasters first started playing in the late 1970s and soon became a Los Angeles favorite, riding the crest of the wave of renewed interest in American roots music as the band carved out a name for itself in the city's burgeoning club scene. While many have tried to imitate The Blasters' sound, no one has been able to harness the passion and perseverance with which they play. With a tradition of producing timeless and meaningful songs, they have toured extensively and collaborated with some of the most respected roots rock artists, John Cougar Mellencamp and Lee Allen among them. Having recently released their fifth studio album, The Blasters' music continues to be used frequently in films and television shows such as From Dusk to Dawn, Streets of Fire, and Six Feet Under.

Beginner swing lesson, 8 - 9 pm; dance, 9pm-12midnight.
