Swing! May 2, 2007

Through photographs, memorabilia, posters and music, 'Swing!' introduces today's audiences to the greats of early and mid-century jazz, as well as lesser-known innovators, side-men and arrangers. The exhibit focuses on the impact of swing on American society through contemporary artifacts of segregation and integration of both performers and audiences in recordings, theaters, clubs and accommodations.
