Swimming Swamp Rabbits - September 26: 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Swamp Rabbits are not your typical Rabbit. For one thing, they swim! Come explore how the special adaptations that make them different help them survive. For example, they can escape predators by lying motionless underwater with only their nose clearing the surface.
Eco Trackers classes inspire young naturalists - ages 9 to 12 - to explore their surroundings and deepen their knowledge of the natural world. All classes include a short introduction inside followed by outdoor activities. The majority of class time is spent outside incorporating hands-on, engaging activities. Participants should come dressed for the weather, wear closed toe shoes, and bring a snack and water.
