Swimmers Across the US Converge in South Florida for Swim Miami Presented by Nike April 9, 2011

Swim Miami Presented by Nike, one of the largest and finest open water swims in the world, is coming to the shores of Watson Island at the Miami Yacht Club located on 1001 Macarthur Causeway on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. Swimmers will be competing in the 800 Meter, Miami Mile, 4K and 10K swims. The half-mile swim is back this year for beginners and children ages 10 and under.

Swimmers can register online at www.SwimMiami.net or in person at the Miami Yacht Club on Friday, April 8 from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. or Saturday, April 9 from 6:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. All participants will receive a Finisher Nike Swim Miami Race Patch. Parking will be available at Jungle Island for $5 on event day. For those who are unable to attend, the event will be streaming live online courtesy of La Ley Sports and Swimming World Magazine at www.SwimmingWorldMagazine.tv.
