Let the party begin! Scalo's Italian Grill is the place to be tomorrow as Closet Cinema kicks off the 2007 Southwest Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.This year's festival begins on September 28 and runs through October 4, and is going to be New Mexico's premiere gay and lesbian event.

Closet Cinema volunteers and staff will be on hand at Scalo's to distribute copies of the 2007 Program Guide, which lists the times and dates of this year's films, as well as detailing the parties and all events that make up this year's two-city, week-long event. Tickets will be sold at the door for $25, with a $5 discount for all members of Closet Cinema. Once inside, help yourself to a mouth watering array of fabulous Scalo food and get ready to win fantastic door prizes from Betty's Bath and Day Spa, Red Wing Shoes, Toad Road, Popejoy, and other wonderful sponsors. If you become a member of Closet Cinema at the kickoff party, admission is free!
