Sweetwater Brewing Company “checks-in” To First International Ipa Day This Thursday August 4, 2011

Grab your drinkin’ buddies and charge your phones for the first ever International IPA Day at Atlanta’s favorite SweetWater Brewery! India Pale Ales (IPAs), known for their distinct flavor and aroma from the “dry hopping” process, and their high abv’s, will take over the taps in the tasting room. To help beer and cyber geeks celebrate, the leading social drinking community, Untappd, is releasing a new limited edition 2011 IPA Day badge, and everyone who shows their Foursquare check-in upon arrival will take home a free beer koozie. Those who show staff they checked-in on Foursquare, Facebook or simply sent a Tweet mentioning #IPADay will also be entered to win a SweetWater IPA wooden sign!
