SweetWater Brewery Celebrates End of Summer With Canoe & UCR August 13, 2011

You’re invited to join SweetWater Brewery in celebrating the End of
Summer with a Riverside BBQ at Canoe Restaurant on Saturday, August 13
from 1-4pm. Enjoy a savory barbeque meal paired with beers from
Atlanta’s own SweetWater Brewery, live music from Ben Deignan and a
free one year membership to Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. A portion
of the party proceeds will benefit UCR and SweetWater Brewery will
present a check to UCR from its annual “Save the Hooch” campaign.

Using ingredients from local farms as well as Canoe's own garden, chef
Carvel Grant Gould and her team will prepare a savory barbecue meal
for guests, and SweetWater Brewery will provide their trademark local
beers. A portion of the proceeds from the party will benefit UCR and
our work to keep the river clean. SweetWater will present a check for
this year's Save the Hooch Campaign, the brewery's annual initiative
to raise funds for UCR's river patrol and water monitoring programs in
the Chattahoochee River watershed.
