Sweet Diversity Dessert Reception: District 7 May 14, 2009

Sweet Diversity is a dessert reception (similar to a potluck dinner) where participants in District 7 bring desserts representing their unique cultural heritage. It is sponsored by the City of Chattanooga Office of Multicultural Affairs, District 7 Councilman Manny Rico, and the District 7 Sweet Diversity Volunteer Planning Committee.

Participants may bring a homemade or store-made dessert, and recipes for sharing with homemade desserts. Participants are invited to set up table displays to share their culture and family lineage. Participants are treated to delicious free desserts as well as exciting visual and performing arts.
