Swashbuckling!! Stage Combat Class for children and teens September 1, 2009

The Tandez Academy of Martial Arts Stage Combat Program (TAMA SCP) is dedicated to promoting safety and fostering excellence in the art of stage combat and theatrical action. The SCP is founded on the principles and methodology of the nation’s top stage combat training organization, the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD). SAFD directors are responsible for choreographing everything from the best Broadway shows, nationally renowned Shakespeare festivals and Hollywood action blockbusters.

TAMA’s SCP will become one of the foremost stage combat training programs in the San Francisco Bay Area. Taught by Fight Choreographer Adrian Tandez, all Stage Combat classes place emphasis on a non-violent approach to stage violence as well as the actor’s rights and responsibilities when required to perform fight scenes.
