Diamondhead Ventures
Building a successful company takes more than just an investment of capital. It requires a mix of savvy business advice, access to key technology resources, and an entrée to industry partners. And that's what Diamondhead Ventures is all about.

Diamondhead Ventures is focused on investing in information technology companies with substantial intellectual property that is unique and disruptive, e.g., technology that is being developed with potential to perform ten times better than what is currently available in the marketplace. We typically invest in seed, first or second round institutional financings. As in the past, we believe that several of our investments opportunities will come from technology being spun out of leading research universities.

Diamondhead Ventures is dedicated to helping innovators bring great technologies to market quickly and successfully, and we have the track record to prove we can do just that. Our investment team has over 40 years of successful IT experience. We've grown and launched industry leaders including 3COM, ELoan, Harmonic, Extreme Networks and SupportSoft.

Diamondhead Ventures' team includes a world-class network of corporate partners, including: Oracle, Sun Microsystems, TeliaSonera, HCL Technologies, Foxconn, and Fujitsu. Our Advisory Board is committed to providing our entrepreneurs with business mentoring, resources and industry contacts.

We're looking for opportunities in the private sector and in leading research universities. We believe that university research represents a highly promising source of next-generation technology, and we're focusing our resources on supporting innovation in this environment. Of course, we're also actively seeking promising technologies generated within the commercial sector to complement our university-based portfolio.
