Sustainable Living in Houston September 3, 2008

Sustainable Living in Houston is a 501(c)3 environmental organization currently working in the Cy-Fair/Katy area. Newly formed in February of 2008, but already making news!

Democratic hopeful for Precinct 3 Commissioner will speak at our meeting. He will talk about his ideas for this precinct specifically aleternative transportation - sidewalks, bike lanes, etc.

Peter Wang will discuss the ins and outs of bikes and alternative transportation.

This is our membership month! Come see what we are about. Have a say in our initiatives for the next year! We cover all environmental issues - including transportation, land use, recycling, organics, water conservation, etc. So, whatever your interest is, we have it!

We are also having a raffle! Several items will be available such as a wine cork board, recycled lunch box, and more!

SLH has other activities for kids, so this meeting is directed toward adults on this evening.
