Former US House Representative and the last South Carolinian woman to serve in the US Congress, Liz Patterson explores the life and work of Susan B. Anthony and the role of women in South Carolina politics. Liz Patterson served on the Spartanburg County Council (1975-7), in the SC Senate (1979-86), and in the US House of Representatives (1986-92). She is the daughter of former South Carolinian Governor and US Senator, Olin Johnston.
