Presented by Judith Matloff
The past year was one of the bloodiest in living memory for journalists, with more than 100 killed on the job. Judith Matloff looks at what journalists do to get the story and then get out safely. The terrain has grown more dangerous with the rise of social media and civil unrest.
TCC member Judith Matloff is a 30-year veteran of foreign correspondence and has reported from five continents. She teaches conflict reportage at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and has won various accolades, including a MacArthur fellowship.
