September is the Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month in Singapore. Head and Neck Cancers are cancers that typically occur in the mouth, nose, salivary glands, throat and lymph nodes, affecting three times more men than women.

To help raise awareness of this relatively unknown cancer, the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) and Singapore Cancer Society are organising a free public forum.

Learn more about Head and Neck Cancer from a panel of medical professionals, who will share on the causes, ways of prevention and latest treatment methods available.

Also hear from head and neck cancer survivors and caregivers in an interactive Q&A session.

The forum will be held in English (Chinese subtitles will be provided on slides used by the speakers).

To register, please email npconeheart@gmail.com or call 6772 4854. Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
