Survival Plants of Pueblo Mountain Park: A Hike With Cattail Bob August 23, 2009

Spend the morning with Cattail Bob as we explore remote recesses of the park searching for and learning to identify the wild edible, medicinal and poisonous plants of our region. You will touch, smell and taste the herbs, berries and roots of Colorado and the Rockies. Wilderness survival, ethical harvesting and tool-crafting with plants will be just a few of the topics covered. Cattail's book, Best-Tasting Wild Plants of Colorado, will be available for purchase, with a book signing after class.
