Surf on the Silver Screen Presents Stoked & Broke April 26, 2011

Kick off this Spring season with Ocean Beach Surf & Skate for Surf on the Silver Screen movie night at The Pearl Hotel! This month’s event is one you won’t want to miss, featuring the locally filmed flick, Stoked & Broke on April 26, 2011 from 7-10pm.

Kicking back poolside, in a cabana, or inside the lounge while watching Stoked & Broke, a film directed by San Diego’s Cyrus Sutton. “A staycation surfari epic on zero dollars”, Stoked & Broke follows Sutton and fellow San Diegan, Ryan Burch as they set out on a surf trip in their own backyard of San Diego. Follow Sutton and Burch as they travel by foot on a weeklong journey as they surf local breaks on homemade boards and discover life from a minimalist approach.

Enjoy killer food and drink specials including a gourmet burger and beer combo, $3 Draft Beers, as well as a raffle with great prizes from Ocean Beach Surf and Skate, Ocean Experience Surf School, The Pearl Hotel and other event sponsors. The screening begins at 8pm and seating is limited, so be sure to get there early!
