Supply Chain Management: Contracts and Procurement May 21, 2009

Professionals associated with supply chain management recognize that they need to be knowledgeable in the area of contracts and procurement to deal with the complexity of a business enterprise. This course will cover the basic concepts and techniques needed to effectively obtain faster, better and cheaper methods of supply chain management. Students will learn what the appropriate contract structure is needed for different situations, what an effective proposal would look like and how to review it, what the different approaches to soliciting bids are, and how to manage the risk of contracts.
