Supernatural Noir: A 21st Century Operetta August 12, 2010

Supernatural Noir is a new operetta that spins the darkly comic tale of Slim Diggins, a psychic detective who grapples with his own morals in a world full of corruption and greed. It tips its hat to the golden age of old-time radio dramas, and is sung from beginning to end in lyric opera style. The original score blends jazz and classical genres and the performers include favourite musical theatre vocalists Laura Di Cicco, Melanie Adams, Matt Palmer and David Adams, the piano-violin-cello threesome Joe Trio and a special appearance by Australian didgeridoo virtuoso William Barton.

This will be a night composed of equal parts mystery, humour and superb singing. Sit back and be entertained as the plot thickens!
