As one of today's most gifted songwriting bands, Supergrass has experimented with a mixture of blues, country, glam and raw rock 'n' roll over the years. With a lifetime’s worth of fantastic tunes already under their belts, their musical prowess has resulted in two albums listed in the 1001 Albums You Must Hear before You Die - a sterling effort for a bunch of lads who have only recently left their 20’s.

Diamond Hoo-Ha is their sixth studio album and is the band at their exuberant best. It’s an album of raucous rock ‘n roll songs that are glitzy and glam as they are punchy and gritty. With simmering verses, taut rhythms and flirtatious bass lines, this is effortless cool and in the words of NME “ definitely worth making a hoo-ha over.”

Live, their performance oozes rock-star swagger. Recent reviews describe Coombes as having more than a touch of Mick Jagger about him, as prancing about, while behind him, Danny drums every song as though attempting to break a speed record.
