In 'Superfluous Disgruntlement,' Steve. Bird attempts to catch his demons as they slip out of his grasp, in the process tackling issues such as the existence of true love, neurotic resistance to relationships, hostility towards authority, adventures with anti-depressants, existentialism, wearing black in its myriad forms, clowns, creative self-sabotage, pornography, scatological obsessions, cybersuicide, and the elevation of soulless somnambulism of celebrity into the post-monotheistic pagan pantheon.
