Join us for our 4th Annual "Super Summer Kids Activity Fair" on Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 4-7PM. Businesses and organizations will have booths promoting their summer activities for children and youth. Each booth will provide a free activity while supplies last, such as bean bag toss, face painting, balloon art, clowns, etc. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to explore summer activities that will be available for their children and youth in Monroe. We want children and youth to have a super summer in Monroe! This annual event, held in conjunction with City Government Week and Georgia Cities Week, is expected to draw more than 2,000 attendees. The Super Summer Kids Activity Fair" is held at City Hall and throughout downtown Monroe along Broad Street (beginning at Monroe Utilities and ending at CVS/FUMC/Hardess). There will be food, inflatables, music, games and more. The City of Monroe will give away hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks to the first 2,000 people as part of City Government Day. Learn about the City's services, see equipment and fire trucks, police cars, K-9s and much more. Thanks for making Monroe your home!
