Join us for an Earth Day Community Conversation on Climate Change! Sunnyvale will host a free event on Wednesday, April 22, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm, in City Hall Council Chambers. This event will be a panel discussion of local and regional business leaders to discuss new and emerging green technologies, why sustainability should matter to the community, and what community members can do to be “green.” Faciliated by Craig Horne, CEO/Founder of EnerVault, the panel will also highlight respective technologies as they relate to community sustainability.
Light refreshments will be served, and community members will be able to browse tables featuring a variety of local “green” products and services. The event is also registered with ICLEI’s National Conversation on Climate Change at www.climateconversation.org, and will be taped for future playback on KSUN. Funding is provided by the City’s Bay Area Air Quality Management District grant on capacity building for greenhouse gas reduction.
