Sundays at Tufts- Community Concert Series: ANA Trio - A Tufts Composers Concert October 14, 2012

Tufts Composers presents guest artists ANA Trio in a concert of premieres and commissions, featuring pieces by Rob Deemer ("Snow", with poetry by Sara Teasdale), Daron Arik Hagen ("Rapture and Regret", with text from Virginia Woolf's The Waves and Isak Dinesen's Out of Africa; choreography by Helen Myers), Caroline Mallonée, and John McDonald’s new work “Courbet’s Impromptu Farewells”. The trio is made up of soprano Angela Haas, cellist Natasha Farny, and pianist Anne Kissel Harper. At 2:30 p.m., a screening of Judith Wechsler’s film "Courbet: Dreaming the Modern" will precede the concert.
