The workshop will be a varied day, comprising class, taught material, improvisation and creative work, focusing on dancing with the sense of being grounded, articulate and kinetic. The day aims to provide an enjoyable mental and physical workout for professionals; a space to challenge yourself and refresh.
Matthias Sperling trained with the Canadian Children's Dance Theatre in Toronto, Canada, and with Transitions Dance Company at Laban. He has been a member of Random Dance since 2001 and previously worked with Matthew Bourne's Adventures in Motion Pictures and Kerry Nicholls Dance Company among others. Most recently, Matthias participated in the Jerwood Bank Project 2006 with Siobhan Davies Dance Company.
Sunday Series workshops are £20 or free to Dance Connect members and take place at Dance City.
