Sunday Bazaar by the Bangalore YWCA December 1, 2012

The Bangalore YWCA is holding an innovative Sunday Bazaar on December 2 at their Tunbridge High School premises on Infantry Road. There will be unusual things you may have been looking for at surprising prices - some literally for a song! This the real deal flea market.

SEEK AND YOU SHALL FIND:
As you browse in a lovely open-air atmosphere, here's what you will find:

beautiful hand-painted glassware, cupcakes, lamps, jewellery, accessories, home ware, medicinal plants, books, even vintage furniture and pianos dating back to the 1800s! As you start to get hungry, dig in to a variety of delicious eats...there's even a Goan stall.

FEATURED:
Goody-Bag - launched by Sheba Thayil & Sandra Noble, will feature a display sourced from London markets as well as handmade goodies.

Arugam Bay - theatre personality Judith Roby Bidapa's stall - brings you colourful flipflops from Sri Lanka.

CREATIVE SPACE:
A lovely atmosphere under the natural shade of trees has a stage plumb in the middle - a 'Creative Space' - open to anyone daring to warble into a microphone, or read out poetry they've hidden for years in their cupboards.

CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME - GIVE WHILE YOU GET:
While you have fun, you are contributing to a good cause: part of the proceeds will go towards the Bangalore YWCA's annual Christmas Tree Programme for underprivileged kids & families. The Bazaar will also have stalls by different charities, so here's your chance to give, while you get!
