"Sundaes on Saturday" Ice Cream Social August 16, 2008

Sunflower’s first event supporting the Shyann Kindness Project kicks off at the Broadway market with a “Sundaes on Saturday” Ice Cream Social. For a $1 donation, guests can enjoy a bowl of ice cream and drizzle on their own toppings. The Project’s mission is to pass on kindness by providing fun and needed items to children in stressful situations, while also inspiring the performance of random acts of kindness and acceptance of others. Since April 2006, the Project has served more than 4,300 children at Kindness Gift Giving Events, held at schools, shelters, clinics and hospitals. All proceeds will go directly to the Tucson-based Project.
