Las Cruces, NM, February 2009 — Sun City Comedy, a comedy business venture based out of El Paso, Texas will showcase standup comedy on Friday February 20th, at CodeRED Cafe, located in Las Cruces, NM at 1160 El Paseo Rd. There will be two shows that evening, the first one starting at 7:00pm and a second “Adult Content” show starting at 9:00pm. The show will feature comedians from all over the country, including; originally from Detroit Michigan, opening performer Ray Charles, from Laredo Texas, feature performer Ponchi Herrera. Headlining from McAllen, Texas is Raymundo Orta. Tickets to the event are $10.00. Tickets for the last 3 shows have sold out the day before the event so make sure you pick yours up early, pre-sale of tickets at CodeRED Café.

Comedian Ray Charles originally from Detroit Michigan, makes his second appearance at the CodeRED Stage, his entertaining humor and stories will keep everyone at the edge of their seats. Ponchi Herrera has done 2 USO tours in Japan, South Korea and Germany. He has appeared on LOCO Comedy Jam, Latino Laugh Festival: Diamond in the Rough, and has opened for established comedians such as Paul Rodriguez. Headliner 23 year old Raymundo Orta has been called a "Heavy Hitting Youngster" by some of the Comedy’s Latin Legends. Paul Rodriguez, Juan Villarreal, Mike Robles, Kristin Keyes, Alex Ortiz and many more have seen him take over a crowd. High Energy, and tons of fun, Raymond Orta was referred to as "The Future of Latin Comedy" by veteran comic Rob Jenkins. Raymond has appeared at Comedy clubs all over the country such as The Comedy Store and the Rumba Room in Hollywood, California.
