A day for the entire family showcasing Nickelodeon stars, hip music, storytelling, marionette puppets, and dancing.
Lance Robertson, AKA DJ Lance Rock, is a Los Angeles-based musician, DJ, and actor also known for his role on the award-winning Nick Jr. show Yo Gabba Gabba!. Originally from St. Louis, Robertson was the vocalist for a local electronic band throughout the 1990’s. Later Robertson relocated and formed the indie rock band The Raymakers. While working on building their name, Robertson met Scottie Schultz of the Orange County indie pop band Majestic, and they eventually played a couple of shows together. Years later, when Schultz was co-creating the show Yo Gabba Gabba!, he asked Lance to serve as host, which he graciously accepted. This summer, DJ Lance Rock will bring his kid-friendly DJ sets to Central Park SummerStage and will be joined by fellow Yo Gabba Gabba! character Brobee.
The JumpArounds is Nickelodeon’s new preschool pop band and self-titled TV series, consisting of four best friends -- Marina, Kiki, Twist, and Shout -- who attend music school together and love to sing and dance. Packed with hip, catchy songs, dynamic choreography, and clever storylines, The JumpArounds will get the whole family singing and dancing.
