Summerfest San Marcos July 4, 2009

On Saturday, July 4, 2009, the community-wide, annual Independence Day celebration will be held at San Marcos Plaza Park along the banks of the crystal clear San Marcos River. For twenty-nine years, Summerfest has become an annual family tradition for San Marcos residents and visitors. The festival includes live music, food booths, children activities and a spectacular fireworks exhibition. Tune in to KTSW 89.9 for choreographed music to the fireworks exhibition. Admission is free to the public. No alcohol, glass containers or pets! Coolers are subject to inspection. Free parking is available at the San Marcos Activity Center and Texas State’s Strahan Coliseum.
