The Oshman Family JCC will open its doors to the community for a day of fitness, safety and fun. This FREE event will be filled with activities to improve one's health, wellness and safety.
Adult activities include free use of the Goldman Sports & Wellness Complex (pool excluded), a Zumba party with live drummers, TRX Demos, posture assessments, information on skin cancer and complimentary chair massages.
For kids and families there will be bicycle and helmet safety checks by Sports Basement, a meet and greet with the Palo Alto Fire Department, Red Cross water safety tips and pet adoption with Doggie Protective Services. There will also be face painting, bounce houses, a DJ, carnival games and an ice cream truck.
This free open house is the first in a planned series of quarterly events.
"Summer is a busy, outdoor time and we want to help our community be summer safe as well as have fun," said Jaime Benes, OFJCC Fitness & Wellness Assistant Director. "Our summer safety open house gives us a chance to showcase some of the programs and activities we offer to help people live healthier, more active lives."
