Summer Reading Challenge Early Joiners Day July 15, 2011

The theme of this year’s main Summer Reading Challenge is Circus Stars. It tells the story of six characters who are learning circus skills ready for a performance in the big top. As children read books, they will be given stickers which they can place on the stage. Once they have read six books, each child will be awarded a Circus Stars medal. Any child from 0-16 can join the challenge.
The Summer Reading Challenge begins on Wednesday 20 July and runs until 3 September 2011 in all Essex libraries and mobile libraries.
Wickford Library will be holding an Early Joiners Day on July 16th so children can beat the rush to enrol.
