The Big Lebowski (R 1998)
Directed by Joel Coen, starring Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore
Running Time: 117 mins.
In this warped Coen Brothers comedy, an L.A. slacker dude with a fondness for White Russians gets mistaken for a crooked billionaire. "The Dude" and his friend, a moody Vietnam vet (John Goodman), find themselves mixed up with an acrobatic artist (Moore), a cutthroat bowler (John Turturro), and a narrating cowboy (Sam Elliott) in this screwball surrealist comedy with a touch of philosophy.
