Strangers on a Train (PG 1951)
Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, starring Farley Granger
Running Time: 101 mins.
This taut Fruedian thriller follows Bruno (Robert Walker), a disturbed soul who meets tennis star Guy (Granger). Bruno desperately wants his rich father dead; Guy wants to dump his wife. Guy laughs off Bruno’s suggestion that they "trade" murders, but Bruno won’t take no for an answer. Visually arresting, nail-biting Hitchcock with the famous climactic carousel scene.
