Summer Hiking With Your Pet May 15, 2010

Bring your furry friend and relax in the shade of our covered pavilion while Sylvia Creach gives you pointers on preparing you and your four-legged friends for hiking safely and enjoyably while in the Government Canyon State Natural Area during Texas summers. Sylvia is CPR/First Aid certified (human) and has worked with various organizations such as the Humane Society, Wildlife Rehabilitation Centers and Veterinarian offices. All pets must be up-to-date on their vaccinations and be on a leash no longer than six feet. Bring a drinking container and water for your pet.
