Summer “Gardein Party” Aims to Serve 10,000 Healthy Meatless Meals in Atlanta from July 23-25, 2011
Gardein challenges Americans to give up meat one day a week this summer
Garden Protein International of Richmond, British Columbia, the makers of healthy and tasty Gardein, an award-winning line of meat-free foods, in conjunction with the Meatless Monday organization is promoting a national health movement designed to convince even the meatiest of carnivores to try the “flexitarian” way of life this summer. As a bonus, for every American that pledges to go meat-free one day a week this summer, Gardein will donate one meal to The Atlanta Day Shelter.
Gardein will host exciting food demonstrations, share simple recipes, and distribute samples of its wonderful products from a food truck that will visit:
- The Festival on Ponce, 1451 Ponce de Leon Avenue, Atlanta, on Sunday July 23 10am - 7 pm, and on Monday July 24 from 11am - 6pm, and
- at Colony Square, 1197 Peachtree Street, the corner of Peachtree and 15th Streets Atlanta, on Monday July 25 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
