Lakewood Heritage, Culture & the Arts is thrilled to announce the artist lineup for the 2013 Sounds Exciting! Summer Concert Series at Bonfils-Stanton Amphitheatre, 801 S. Yarrow Street (Wadsworth and Ohio.) Offering fan favorites such as The Hazel Miller Band and exciting new artists such as Juno Award Winning Jayme Stone, this season of Sounds Exciting! has a concert for every musical interest!

2013 Sounds Exciting! lineup:

• June 19 The Hazel Miller Band, Lakewood’s rhythm & blues favorite
• June 26 Jayme Stone’s Room of Wonders, world-class Banjo music
• July 3 No concert - enjoy your Independence Day holiday!
• July 10 Red Molly, Joyous Bluegrass-tinged Americana
• July 17 Eclipse, a rocking tribute to Journey
• July 24 Creole Stomp, High energy Creole & Zydeco
• July 31 Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand, experimental Funkadelic fun

Sounds Exciting! Concerts are a great way to meet your neighbors, experience world-class music, and experience some of the best sunsets in Colorado! All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. with gates at 6 p.m. There is plenty of free parking available on-site, and picnicking is allowed. Additionally, NZ’s Smokin’ Guns BBQ food truck is on-site to serve dinner, and Paciugo Gelato and other novelties will be available at the popular White Way Grill.
