Chicago, IL – Hell in a Handbag Productions welcomes the return of the sun with Summer Camp, a series of camp-tacular Cabaret readings of works we’re considering for future seasons. Pitch a tent and sit around our neon camp-fire with us as we present the Chicago premieres of three works sure to help you forget the winter blues.

Reefer Madness- The Musical – Inspired by the classic 1936 anti-marijuana propaganda film, Reefer Madness-The Musical tells the tale of Jimmy Harper, an All-American youth whose life falls into a pit of debauchery and despair after one puff off the evil marijuana cigarette. But will his love for the beautiful Mary Lane be enough to save him from the wickedness of Mary Jane?
