Adventures in Air & Space
Lt. Robert Haskins is an Aerospace Education Officer with the Civil Air Patrol and was recently appointed #1 Educator in all of Central Florida. Lt. Haskins has put together this exciting camp with activities to introduce both younger and older kids to the exciting world of aerospace rockets, planes and space.
Through interactive multimedia presentations, hands-on activities and crafts, students will discover the amazing world or airplanes, rockets, jets and our contry's space program -- how they work, why they are important and the incredible history they've created in taking us into the heavens and beyond.
August 9-13
Ages 10 & Up: 9:00-1:00 (includes building and launching a rocket)

Cultural Arts
Travel to another country at Spark!
Travel around the world with one of our special guests through food, fashion, customs, language and history. Kids love to learn how others eat, play and live around the world.

Drama & Costume Design (2-week camp)
Acting, improvisation games, storytelling, and more help in learning the basic skills for any young actor. The children will write their own programs and design their own costumes. We will focus on being comfortable performing as part of a group and also performing alone for an audience. This is a great class for kids to find confidence and comfort in group situations. The session ends with each student feeling like a star!

Help your child experience it all from one of Orlando's best art teachers. Students are introduced to artists, styles, history and a multitude of art influences as they create their own masterpieces and gain awareness of how art impacts each of us and our world.

The Fine Arts Camp is split into groups by age/grade level, but the Mini-Camp will be mixed ages.

Photography
Taught by renowned photo journalist Nadine Nasby!
In addition to learning about taking still life, portrait and nature/wildlife pictures, campers will learn photo composition, lighting and photo journalism.
5th Grade and up. The Photography camp hours are 1:30-4:30.

Reading/Writing Mini-Camp
The reading/writing mini-camp will help 1st - 4th graders focus on creative writing, reading, journaling and more. This is for students looking to maintain and enhance skills. In order to provide maximum attention for each student, the camp sessions will be limited to 6-8 students. Register early!
The mini-camp hours are 1:30-3:30 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Sample The Arts
Your child will learn anime/cartooning, origami, and a wide variety of mixed media with lots of projects. This is not your typical art camp; expect the unexpected!

Spark! Fun Science Lab
Spark your little scientist's mind in this exciting, fun and action-packed camp! Learn about the scientific method, from formulating a question to drawing conclusions to applying them, all while having fun with a variety of exciting experiments. This camp is very hands-on and always a favorite.
