Summer Brawl 2012 June 30, 2012

Summer Brawl 2012 turns up the heat in the cage with over 25 MMA bouts June 30th at the Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park. Local fighter Nick Flemm from Elmhurst who trains under Nick Janowitz, owner of Patriot Boxing in Elmhurst and Head Wrestling Coach at Immaculate Conception High School, is one fighter slated to take on the challenge of this exciting night of mixed martial arts action.

Part of the Summer Brawl is the return of the “Grand Prix Tournament” as 4 fighters compete twice in one night for the Iron Man MMA Championship. The winner will receive a 54-inch hand engraved King Solomon double-edged sword and a Pro contract to fight with Chicago Cagefighting Championship.

Other amateur fighters scheduled to appear include women’s MMA star Breea Gilbert, heavyweights Dustin Stusse, Matt Brax, Oliver Vasquez and Darrel Edmondson, plus Wes Anderson, Jose Torres, Justin Hughes, Jake Powers, and so many more.

The Odeum Expo Center is located at 1033 North Villa Avenue in Villa Park (just south of I-290 and west of Route 83). Doors open at 5:00pm with the first fight beginning at 6:00pm.
